March 9, 2010 (Toronto) – A large number of world renowned doctors are keeping a close eye on Toronto, ON these days.
More specifically, they have their attention drawn to Dr. James Meschino, a popular health and wellness expert and author of The Meschino Optimal Living Program – 7 Steps To A Healthy, Fit, Age-Resistant Body.
Dr. James Meschino was recently invited to speak at the Integrative Cancer Therapy Conference in Boca Raton, Florida, an event that was hosted by the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. The attendees were primarily medical doctors from the USA and abroad who were seeking the latest scientific methods to effectively assess and treat cancer.
His talk was a hit. And now leading doctors from around the world are turning to Dr. Meschino to learn more about the natural methods to treat cancer, more specifically prostate cancer.
“For years, doctors have been turning to science and medicine for the treatment of cancer,” says Dr. Meschino.
“There have certainly been all sorts of breakthroughs in the medical world with cancer treatment. What’s even more fascinating now is that leading doctors who specialize in cancer treatment and research are now realizing that nutrition and supplements is yet another important avenue to explore.”
Dr. Meschino has been a long advocate of nutrition and supplements and this is why the medical world is turning their attention to his area of specialty in the treatment of prostate cancer. Why? Nutritional products and supplements are now proven to lower prostate specific antigen (PSA) levels.
These include: Soy Isoflavones; Vitamin D; Lycopene Supplementation; Antioxidants and Low Animal Fat Diet; Saw Palmetto and Lycopene; and Pomegranate.
In addition, Dr. Meschino also has compelling evidence for the use of other supplements in the management of prostate cancer, including: Modified Citrus Pectin; Vitamin E Succinate; and Essential Fatty Acids (a combination supplement containing fish, flaxseed and borage seed oil).
Dr Meschino continues to keep his eye on the emerging research showing which supplements (and dosages) are the most appropriate to use as adjunctive measures to help combat various types of cancer.
“These are exciting times,” says Dr. Meschino. “For years, many skeptics have shunned nutrition and natural supplements. However, a new chapter has emerged and doctors now are realizing the importance of my field and how it will benefit those seeking the treatment they require.”
